April 2, 2021 marks the ten-year Anniversary of the death of Anchored in Faith Founding Pastor John Honn.

Pastor John was very committed to Anchored in Faith and preaching the gospel. However he did have some unrelated hobbies. One of those was raccoon hunting with his dogs.

On April 2, 2011, Pastor John was attending a hunt with a group of several other raccoon hunters. They broke up into smaller groups. Pastor John was paired with a man that turned out to be a Medical Doctor by profession. When Pastor Honn collapsed, the doctor quickly went into medical mode. He immediately started CPR. He also tried various drugs that the responding ambulance had with them for MDs to use in situations like this. There was nothing that the doctor could do. Pastor John died of a heart attack and went to be with Yeshua Jesus that morning.

He was looking forward to the time his death would occur as this video shows. It is amazing how most of what Pastor John relates in this video matches much of the details surrounding how he actually died. He had an Israelite burial just as he said that he wanted on this video. He was buried in a plot in the Oxford cemetery. That is pretty much the only aspect that is different.

Pastor John is enjoying eternal life in Heaven now. Meanwhile Father Yahweh has called us to continue and expand the ministry of Anchored in Faith Gospel Church for many years to come.
