Freshwater turtle part 1

The order Testudines or Chelonia includes reptiles commonly known as turtles and tortoises. The shell of these animals is a very complex shield, of the ventral and dorsal parts, which completely encloses all the vital organs of the turtle. In many cultures these animals are the symbol of the warrior, but also of patience, wisdom and longevity. This is due to their characteristic slowness and prudence, which allows them to live a very long life.

Some species can live over 100 years. To reach these extraordinary ages, these curious animals must take care of themselves and, above all, eat very well. But do you know what turtles eat? Watch part 2.
