20210407 Memory and Wisdom - The Daily Summation

I'm one of those people blessed with a pretty good memory. I'm not SUPER fast in terms of processing data, though my pattern recognition could be said to be exceptional (which helps a TON where that sort of thing is concerned).

The thing is, it took me YEARS to come to understand that being able to remember things, was not NEARLY as important as having the wisdom to recognize what should and shouldn't be committed to memory (and how to use it).

Do you wonder why older people "seem more boring?" Part of the reason is that, as they get older, the often get WISER. The result tends to be a strong reduction of the "drama" in their lives.

This is the discussion on today's edition of The Daily Summation from Kurt's Religion and Politics.

When I'm able to complete the companion article on the Kurt's Religion and Politics blog, I'll post a link to it here.
