What could be more conservative than getting into decentralized cryptocurrency?

The American government has been playing Monopoly with the dollar, printing money at will. This leads to inflation, which devalues our buying power. In response to this, many are turning to cryptocurrencies, which are a decentralized monetary system. When you think about it, what could be more conservative than getting government out of our finances?
