The Chinese are making just about everything today and now they are making bass strings on the cheap. So just how good are low dollar roundwounds from China? Will they dazzle or be flat right out of the package? Tune in to find out!
Recording signal chain for the bass:
The G&L L-2000 Tribute series is plugged directly into a Markbass CMD-121P amplifier with a Markbass 1 15 cab. The cab was mic'd with a Shure SM-57 microphone into a Saffire 6 USB interface into a Windows 10 PC.
Video and voice recorded using a Samsung Galaxy S7 cell phone.
