Unreal animals-Small tit with a short, thin beak and relatively short tail. It is significantly inferior in size to the great tit. In color it differs markedly from other species of tits, first of all, by the blue-azure cap and dark blue thin stripes on both sides of the beak, which pass through the eyes and then close at the back of the head. Another dark blue stripe runs around the neck, forming a kind of collar. Cheeks and forehead are white; nape, wings and tail are bluish blue.The back is usually olive green, but it can have different shades depending on the area in which it is found. The bottom is greenish-yellow, below there is a small dark longitudinal stripe.
The beak is black, the legs are gray-gray. Females, on average, are somewhat less contrasting than males, but otherwise they are no different from them. In young birds, the color is duller, generally yellowish-green. The blue cap is absent, the top of the head and cheeks are grayish-brown, the forehead, eyebrows and nape are pale yellow. The top has more gray tones, without the pronounced black and dark blue shades. The underside is greenish-white rather than yellow.
