Azure Storage - Performance, Access and More

When you are designing your storage account you need to decide based on your workloads. What do you need to accomplish? Where does the data need to reside? What type of object am I storing? What are the costs that are associated with this storage? There are two types Standard and Premium. Based on what you are storing in the account will help to decide on the tier that we want to select. Standard supports Blob, Files, Tables , Queues and VM Disks. Premium supports Unmanaged VM Disks, Block Blobs and File Storage.
