Wakefield Believes Pharmaceutical Companies Wanted His Documentary Pulled

Andy Wakefield is a filmmaker, physician, academic, and founder of 7th Chakra Films. His documentaries are all about vaccines. His 2016 documentary, Vaxxed, was accepted into the Tribeca Film Festival, but was then pulled two days later. He believes pharmaceutical companies wanted the film pulled. Robert De Niro later publicly regretted pulling them film, causing it to explode in popularity. Wakefield found himself in the crosshairs of pharmaceutical companies, the British government, the CDC, and the WHO for his position on vaccines. This eventually ended his carrer in medicine.
