It is a nice saying that reminds us of who has to be in control of things in our lives. BUT...too often we get in the way of our own growth because we want things done in the way that we want them to and that runs counter to God's wants and plans. But we need to do what the saying says so that we may receive blessings as well as watch the things God is doing.
