JVC Kenwood DMX47S DMX4707S Feb 2021 Firmware Update Failure

This is my 2nd JVC Kenwood DMX47S. The 1st unit bricked itself on the February 2021 firmware update. The 2nd warranty replacement units has also bricked itself after slow-reformatting the usb drive and re-downloading the firmware February 2021 update. I was able to successfully install the October 2020 firmware update in January. Anyone at JVC Kenwood listening?
