The Striper Blues Journal - Video Log 65 - 04-13-21- A Whole Lotta Nuthin'!

Sports Fans!

Nuthin'? Whatcha mean nuthin'? This is the Chesapeake Bay! There ain't nuthin' prettier than the Chesapeake Bay Sports Fans!

Well, the striped bass fishing is shut down for the month of April so we headed up the Chester River to see if we can sneak up on any of those white and yellow perch that might be starting to move out after the spawn. No luck but don't you worry, we'll get on 'em one of these days.

How many times I gotta tell ya? Getting out on the Striper Blues, smack dab in the middle of the work week is all the darn enjoyment Captain T needs! Catching fish is incidental and I'll tell ya another thing, there ain't NUTHIN' better than a beautiful day on the water to restore your mental health. It's like a sorta mental health tonic or something.

Whew! The last several weeks have been very busy with Captain T's life outside of The Striper Blues and I needed to get out on that gorgeous Chesapeake Bay more than I can put into words. It just instantly makes you feel better. You feel your blood pressure come down. You get excited by what might happen. You see all sorts of incredible wild life and some of the prettiest sunsets in the world far as I'm concerned.

The only thing that would have made this better would have been if Miss Lisa or the Kids had been with me. Whole Lotta Nuthin' but a beautiful day on the water.

Captain T is one Lucky Fish Bum! Well, we'll see you out on the water soon, love you all and I mean it.
