My little Coton De Tulear learning to come along with the horse

I have a new pup, she's a 9 month old Coton De Tulear. Shy Shy is just learning. And as I train her, I make sure I tell her when she is a good dog. Whenever she does something that is good, she gets a "Good Dog". Even something as silly as laying down on her bed when I want her to be out of the way deserves a good dog.
It is much more important to take a moment to define to your dog when she is a good dog than to scold her when she's not.

Dogs are made to be a human's companion. Their number one purpose in life is to make you happy. It's pretty easy to let them know all the places that they make you happy.
