How to- Turn a WYE style alternator into a BRUSHLESS MOTOR!!!

This alternator is from a 2006 toyota solara. Like all Alternators it originally produces AC power via 3 different "phases" and the regulator rectifies that AC into 12vDC.
that being said. remove the regulator, identify the phase connections, connect a BLDC motor controller (brushless ESC) and viola you have a motor.

my future plan is to use this as a powerplant on a small go-cart, Run at about 48V and PWM the Stator brushes with and arduino, as well as use arduino for control of the motor itself.

I posted this video because i havent seen a "hookup" tutorial for WYE (as opposed to DELTA) configured alternators yet.

tip: on WYE the neutral terminal is the one with the MOST wires connected to the backside of it.
