Buddha Does Not Condemn Desire

Participant: Buddha says to not wish, but it seems that precisely this urge to wish leads us to a relationship with God. For example: I want to prove knowledge, I ask God and He gives the test. So, without this desire to prove it, we would park at a certain point, right?
