Lighting may complement elements of texture, form, and mood while also setting the overall mood of a room. It has the potential to be dramatic. It has the potential to be fun. However, it must be practical: if done incorrectly, lighting can completely ruin a design scheme.
My contemporary lighting designs, prepared in line with my understanding of how a client can use a room, heavily rely on staying current with technological advancements and smart home developments.
Mood lighting may also require task lighting options; good reading lighting is essential as it ensures that lighting for specified artworks provides heat or UV protection.
The value of good lighting designs can never be ignored, whether it's to create the atmosphere of flickering candlelight or simply to washing selected spaces with calm, clean contemporary light.
