Revelation Lesson-12: A Great Day of Wrath - Part I

The Lamb opens the seals on the scroll to unleash divine judgments.

Today we are in Lesson-12 in the series “Come Lord Jesus!” from the book of Revelation.

The lesson is titled “A Great Day of Wrath” and our focus passage is Revelation 6:1-8.

Today we are beginning our look at Rev. 6. In chapter 5, Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God took the seven-sealed scroll out of the right hand of the One on the throne, God the Father.

This scroll gives Jesus the authority to carry out God’s plan to reclaim and redeem the earth.

This is the plan to regain Eden, to regain Paradise. And Jesus is the only One worthy of executing this plan.

This is the final stage in God’s restoration plan for this world.

Unfortunately, for those inhabitants of the earth who have rejected the Lord Jesus Christ, a great day of wrath is upon them. Justice indeed is coming. The Day of the LORD is here.
