Colorado schools plan for summer school, but is it the right solution for learning loss?

Despite calls from some school districts to implement summer school to have kids catch up due to pandemic-related learning loss, experts at the National Education Policy Center at CU Boulder say too much focus on remediation or “catching up" could do more harm than good.
