The Striper Blues Journal - Video Log 66 - 04-27-21 - The Word of the Day is PATIENCE!!!

Sports Fans:

OK, struggling to get on the fish these days and figured I'd take the opportunity to talk about some of the things it takes to lead a happy and fulfilled life.

So what does Captain T know about leading a happy and fulfilled life? Well, a heck of a lot as it just so happens. That's because I know what it's like to be an irritating, arrogant, impatient so-and-so. Had to change my tactics cause it was leading me to be an unsuccessful and unhappy Captain T. We can't have that now can we?!?!?

Start out with the idea that you are just going to have to fill up a big old pick-up truck bed of PATIENCE and it's going to take you way longer and be a lot harder than you thought. There's some truth for ya!!!

So much of life is being able to deal with the incredible tedium of "waiting". Fishing is no different. Impatient people don't catch many fish and even if they do, they won't do it consistently and at the end of the day, it won't really be any fun.

Waiting your turn, taking your time and STICKING to it was hard for me to learn as a younger man. Now I'm older and I truly understand that PATIENCE is a virtue and good things really do come to those who wait.

Do all you can to acquire patience Sports Fans. It will be hard but you'll ultimately be more successful in anything you undertake and even more importantly, it will be a HECK of a lot more fun.

Be PATIENT Sports Fans.

Take it from old Captain T. I ought to know.
