Racing thoughts. Insomnia. Why we need quiet time.
We are constantly bombarded with information. Our brains are overloaded with the incoming information. If we don't take breaks and allow our mind to quiet down, it cannot process anything that that came in. That causes racing thoughts, sleep problems, anxiety. It is one of the biggest reasons why children have difficulties learning.
If want to stay healthy, you must take quiet breaks and allow your brain to do its job. A few 15-minutes breaks throughout the day and 20-30 minutes before bed. Shut down all your devices. It has to be quiet! You can use a journal to help your brain organize the thoughts.
