Lionel Prewar Electric Number 254 Mojave

Lionel O gauge 1924-32 locomotive No. 254​, with two 1915-24 No. 610​ Pullman and a 512 Observation car. Locomotive is equipped with a manual reverse switch, front and rear lamps and a bell (later switched to a pantograph). The passenger cars are illuminated. The color you see is called Mojave. There is a known defect concerning the passenger cars in that the pickup roller were too short to contact the track. This original set still retains it's original rollers which were never upgraded to the larger size. Latch couplers are used to hold everything together.
