what of the children asleep in their bed
Take to the streets, fight for a belief
killing offers nothing for relief

What is the purpose of a war
dismantling countries to the core
Distractions believed by those who are lost
gasoline prices will rise to such a high cost

Political shenanigans still underfoot
streets fill with debris all covered in soot
Will this all end some folks are asking
lies being exposed the truth is unmasking

What’s going on behind the scenes
such devious plots hatched by some fiends
Some want chaos and others want peace
if we all kill each other humanity shall cease
