Testimony: Rita McCoy
Background: Rita is a former Metropolitan Police Department Homicide Detective

DESCRIPTION:

Rita McCoy was a patrol officer for five (5) years before being promoted to an investigator and subsequently promoted to Detective Grade Two investigating Child Abuse and Critical Missing Persons. Rita was then transferred to Homicide in 1991. Rita worked for the Metropolitan Police Department (Washington, D.C. Police) from 1982 to 2010.

Rita McCoy's personal testimony is unfortunately all too common. According to the United States Supreme Court, a woman has the right to be fully informed about all the physical, psychological, and emotional reactions that are associated with abortion. It's both the abortion clinic's duty and the doctor’s duty to be sure you understood the information before the abortion procedure.

Furthermore, this woman's right to be fully informed includes the right to know if the abortion will likely to solve her problems or be more likely to aggravate existing problems, or to create new ones for her.

Ladies remember, full disclosure is not an option; it is a right.

Thank you, so very much Rita for sharing your personal testimony. In so doing you have saved the life of both present and future generations!
