DESCRIPTION:

Biography of Ben Carson who grew up to be Dr. Ben Carson, a world famous neurosurgeon at Johns Hopkins. The movie opens with Dr. Carson getting a request from West Germany regarding "Occipital Cranopagus" twins. At this point in time no twins have ever survived separation. Yet, Dr. Carson knows that if they're not separated they'll spend the rest of their lives in bed, on their backs. The hospital in Germany wants Dr. Carson to fly to Germany and examine them.

SCRIPT:

German Obstetrician: Welcome to Germany. We've been anxiously awaiting your arrival, Dr. Carson.

German Obstetrician: Allow me to introduce Peter and Augusta Rausch.

Dr. Ben Carson: Grüß Gott (Hello in Southern Germany)

Peter Rausch: Thank you for coming.

Augusta Rausch: How do you do, Doctor?

Dr. Ben Carson: My pleasure.

German Obstetrician: And this is Johann and Stefan.

Augusta Rausch: I wanted to kill myself when I learned the truth, but I realized I would be killing two other being too. And then, as soon as I saw them, my heart melted.

Peter Rausch: Please don't ask us to choose between them.

My son was born less than six (6) months weighing 2.1 pounds. He eventually dropped down to 1.6 pounds. One day while holding the my son in the palm of my right hand, weighing only 1.9 pounds, I heard the voice of God saying this is what's supposed to be on the inside of the womb.
