While I appreciate the freedom of people to express their opinions, I find a well-informed, clearly expressed opinion far more valuable than half-baked one hidden behind a wall of jargon.

Sadly, many in higher academia seem to be afflicted with the latter when it comes to gun issues. Such was the case of an op-ed I found in a Tucson news site earlier this week.
