Another personal Best from River Smallmouth Adventures

What a day on the river, out of the 23 we caught only 5 were under 14"! My friend James Hartsock from "Rolling Waters Adventures" landed his PB at 19 1/4" and my biggest 3 went 17- 17 1/4". I was floating along minding my own business when I heard what sounded like a tornado coming down river behind me when all of a sudden a Bald Eagle hit the water about 20 feet from me and grabbed a 14" smallmouth out of the water! It took a few for my heart to get back in rhythm after that! James took a Virginia kayak ride after he hooked in to a 20 lb.+ Carp! Another beautiful and interesting day on the river!
