HB 4822 (Rep. Mike Mueller) Worker's compensation: benefits; COVID-19 presumption for police, firefighters, and emergency medical personnel incurred in the line of duty; provide for compensation eligibility.

A nicely wrapped House Bill with a pretty bow on top, that was being rushed through to get rubber stamped! What they fail to mention is, there is virtually no proof or science behind determining if a first responder actually contracts Covid while at the workplace, or performing a work related task. This leaves the door open to potential fraudulent claims being filed, and will soon overburden the worker's compensation system.
