Pull the Pin Already (Boot Camp Ep 21): Jim, Mike and Special guest Brigette Parson Dean discuss her dedication to the military and our countries Veterans. Through an organization called Saving Grace K9s they match rescue dogs with North Carolina combat Veterans at no cost to the Veteran. Once matched, the Veteran/dog team attend a 6-8 month intensive training program facilitated by Saving Grace K9 trainers. Since the Veterans are responsible for the majority of the training, a strong bond is created between the Veteran and dog. This also drastically reduces the costs of training the dog for service. They also discuss the state of America today. Our guest discusses what she would do if she were “Queen” for a day and why she thinks her idea(s) can have a positive effect in America.
