20210522 Business Taxes - The Daily Summation

If you're a churchgoer, and your church was required to pay taxes, would it actually be the church paying those taxes, or would the members of the church be responsible for that?

You can argue the church is responsible, but in reality, they folks in that group would be footing the tax bill. Why? Because that CHURCH EXISTS AT THEIR BEHEST (they "pay for" it to be there).

The same thing is true for business. If a company makes furniture, it FACTORS THE COST OF TAXES INTO the prices it charges for its merchandise.

By the way, the same thing is true for most wealthy people, if they're tasked with higher taxes (and they can do so), they WILL up prices on goods and services in order to pay those taxes.

You can think I'm wrong or that I'm correct. Frankly, the facts speak for themselves.
