"Turkey Day" A Thanksgiving Poem

Thanksgiving is a holiday that I began to appreciate more and more the older I became. The main goal of this holiday is eating. Thanksgiving is essentially a four-day feast! Other than dinner, there is not a lot of pressure or responsibility. Unlike Christmas, which has almost unlimited expectations connected to it, Thanksgiving is a relaxing holiday. Family, friends, and food, along with four days to enjoy them all. "Turkey Day" reflects a holiday where you actually have the time and environment to truly appreciate the rewards of your life with genuine and sincere thankfulness.
