Does God give us free will

This doctrine of no free will for mankind justifies the atheist in their claims of God being evil and to blame for all the evil. Yes God brought these people into existence, sustains them, and allows them to make their choices, but that does not mean God makes them do these things. It is like the story of Job. Satan comes to God to ask for permission to test Job and God allows Satan to do so. Satan could have changed his mind and not tested Job at all, but just because God allowed Satan to do it does not mean God controlled Satan to do what Satan did. It is like I tell people about testing other's character. If someone let me treat them like a rug I try to get them to stand up for themselves and not be a rug because, I am not a shitty guy that will walk over people just because they let me. There are those that will do it though. This is not to be blamed of the one letting others walk over them. It is the shitty people willing to do it just because they let them do it.
