These are the photographs of the world's next tallest building emerging from the desert. 

When the Jeddah Tower in Saudi Arabia, which stands 3,280 feet tall (1,000 meters), opens in 2020, it will dethrone Dubai's famous Burj Khalifa as the world's tallest skyscraper by 236 feet (72 meters). 

The landmark is expected to cost $1.4 billion to build.
