Escaping a relationship with a schizophrenic partner to save yourself

Many unsuspecting people have found themselves hooked into a deteriorating relationship trying to save a schizophrenic eaten up by voices they don't understand and a partner who insists nothing is wrong with them, everything wrong is everyone else's fault. Far too often these individuals refuse intervention deny having problems and become increasingly dangerous at which point the helper must concentrate on saving themselves.
