Hot Weekend

The above average summer-like heat and humidity continue today. Waking up to temperatures in the 70s that will quickly rise to the upper 80s and low 90s again, with a southwest breeze. Isolated showers and thunderstorms are possible in the afternoon too. Mid to upper 80s, with a slight chance of showers and storms will persist for most of the work week. Mid to upper 80s will lead way to a more comfortable weekend ahead. Saturday looks like a better chance for scattered showers and thunderstorms across the area. Above average heat is expected into the weekend.
