Turbo ka24de 240sx setting idle and base timing

In this episode we will be attacking the base idle and timing on the turbo ka24de after the engine rebuild. Prior to the rebuild I tried to tune out the bad cylinder with the fuel & ignition controller. In the process of doing that I got the idle air valve and throttle position sensors all out of wack.

I'll show you where these sensors and controllers are and what I will be doing to get things set back up the way they are suppose to be. It is not difficult to do, you just need some basic tools and a timing light. You can pick up a timing light on the outerweb or at your local parts store for around $40. I use the Innova 3568 model.
