The Confucius Institute: China's Secret Weapon Permeating the American University System

The United States Senate looks to be making moves against China's influence in the tech sphere. They kind of are, but kind of aren't. A big bill passed that will spend more money and potentially keep manufacturing jobs here, but it doesn't get to the root of the issue.

Someone who does know how to combat Chinese Influence is Ron Desantis, Based Florida Governor. He has signed 2 pieces of legislation to curb Chinese influence. One takes on the great intellectual property theft that happens and the other is about squeezing out their influence in the University System.

The Confucius Institute is a Chinese propaganda network that dozens of Universities receive funding from all over the Country. They promote Chinese values that run counter to those of American Traditions and thankfully, at least one Elected Official is taking this seriously.
