Revelation – The History of the Church 96 A.D. to 170 A.D.

The Apostle John, in the book of 1 John, wrote about the major issue this assembly was having with love towards other saints. They did good in not tolerating wrong actions in their assembly and testing those claiming to be Apostles, but where not; however, they lost their love for the saints. This is our commandment – to love one another (other saints) as Christ loved us. By forgetting this major aspect of the Christian life. Even though we are not in this time period now, it should serve as a strong reminder to us to love the brethren. Anyone saying they love God and are indifferent to fellow saints is not loving God, for how can we love God and not love those who are born out from Him?
