Roger is known online for his unusually large muscles. He lived in an animal shelter in Alice Springs. During his life in the shelter, the kangaroo grew by more than 2 m and weighed 89 kg. The popularity of Roger was brought in 2015 by a video in which he squeezed metal buckets with his strength.
Shelter manager Chris Barnes said there was nothing unusual about his strength, but he was different from other kangaroos. Roger died in 2018 at the age of 12.
