Is Covid a Back Pain Causer?

Back pain is developing as a Covid-19 symptom. We're starting to hear from folks who have experienced extremely severe and long-lasting back pain as a result of taking Covid-19. However, just because you experience back discomfort does not guarantee you have Covid.
Covid-related back discomfort appears to appear later in the disease. It's unlikely to be a first sign.
It can even strike just as your main symptoms of cough, shortness of breath, loss of smell, and weariness appear to be resolving. Of course, if you had back discomfort before getting Covid, it's possible that you'll have it again, and the virus will exacerbate it.
