Real Fun

Young people need authentic play. Organized sports get in the way of authentic play. Kids around the world and throughout history have had a natural desire to play. Play is the work of children. This doesn't mean that young people shouldn't eventually start to keep their rooms clean and do other household duties and eventually get jobs. Authentic play though is so important to a child's development. Parents often though push them at a very young age to go against their natural desire to play. This stunts their natural development. Children need to laugh and have fun in a real way. Deep laughing and joy is what they so want and need.
Kids want to have fun. In my opinion, organized sports are not fun for young kids. I don't believe young kids should be involved in organized youth sports.
