Reacting to Interrogation Room Gun Grab

Mickey reacts to the hot instagram video of Las Vegas suspect Terrell Rhodes grabbing a officers gun while cuffed to a table in the interrogation room. Rhodes confessed to killing a 2-year-old boy.

Retention holsters are a thing for a reason... so is proximity.

Once the gun was grabbed these individuals showed great restraint. This is a scary and chaotic incident. It doesn't take much to fire a gun, just pounds of pressure.

If you carry a gun, understand, know and train to maintain control of it at all costs.

If you must fight for a loose gun, do it with fervor, dominate the muzzle and be aggressive. Fight to win.

Seeing all this in training hundreds and if not thousands of times is more than just a good idea. Train to live. Train for reality.
