The Day I Left Work

I had been working under a verbally abusive boss for about 6 months. My previous boss was amazing and she will always have my respect. This new boss made it a regular thing to hear her yelling at someone, degrading them and questioning their intelligence. Well, on that day, I had enough. I was regularly working 10-12 hours a day trying to do an impossible job being the only person in my role in North America.

This is about the start of something new because the path I was on was not mentally or physically healthy for me. I was always afraid of leaving the job because i have bills and family, but fortune favors the bold. Yes, we are in the middle of a global pandemic (tail end hopefully) and yes things are crazy. But If i did not act now, then the "perfect" time would never come.
