Unity How can we achieve it when the Left is determined to keep us divided?

How can those who want Americans to be seen and described as just that AMERICAN achieve UNITY when the LEFT continues to categorize us:
Minority
Race
Gender
Sexuality
Wealth
For example… use of history months for certain groups:
Pride Month
Black History Month
Women’s History Month
Indian History Month
