Man appears to use children as cover in brazen broad daylight shooting caught on video

A 24-year old is recovering after being shot Thursday in a daylight shooting in the Bronx, what is worse is the man appears to use young children as cover as the gunman fires repeatedly at the man from feet away.

The shooting was reported just after 6 p.m. in front of 1551 Sheridan Ave. A man appears to run into two small children, aged 10 and 5, and appears to use them as cover as the gunman shoots at him.

The victim was shot in the leg and in the back and taken to the hospital. He is expected to survive. The young children miraculously were not injured.
