SCP-001 is a slot where declarative statement of fact becomes irrefutably true. It was discovered during an April Fools' joke, when researcher Dr. Mary Nakayama experimented with the slot, making very small edits to reality to test it, before deciding to use the slot to transform herself into a godlike entity.
What happened to Dr. Nakayama is as of yet unknown, as no contact has been made with her since her disappearance.
