James 4:13-17 -- Remember that all throughout chapter 4, James has been addressing the issue of selfishness and self-exaltation. In today's text (4:13-15), James illustrates yet another way that we might be guilty of this type of self-exaltation: Forgetting God when we make plans for the future.
