Down With The Tar Babies

Mark Twain used the term tar babies to describe the type of situation many of us find ourselves in regularly these days especially online. I'm referring to the thoughtless rants of many of our fellow citizens. I've noticed that many of us tend to become unhinged as we call someone else unhinged. We will never get this country back on track if that divisive trend is not stopped. I try to not engage with blue pill ideologues on either side of the aisle. Like a tar baby you just end up getting them all over you. The best way to handle them is to laugh at them Alinsky style state clearly what they have wrong and disengage. There's another thing Twain said that sums it up. "Never try to teach a pig to sing. It wastes your time and only annoys the pig." Below is the link to the article I'm referring to.
