Philippine Fairy bluebird Call

The Philippine fairy-bluebird (Irena cyanogastra) is a species of bird in the family Irenidae. It is endemic to the Philippines. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forest and subtropical or tropical moist montane forest. The species, along with the Asian fairy-bluebird, are considered as sacred to the Tagalog people as they are perceived as tigmamanukan omens, and therefore, the sacred omens and messengers of Bathala, the supreme god in indigenous Tagalog religious practices.
