RELIGIOUS BOY SINGING HYMNS / PB's Coffee Break

Dear Pastor Bob: Some say if you don’t wave your hands in the air like you just don’t care, or dancing like King David, then you are not actually worshiping. Forgive me for the silly analogies, but many Churches (especially Charismatic Churches) teach that true worship is lifting hands, dancing, clapping, getting emotional, etc.  They say this is the Biblical way to worship. I am not opposed to lifting hands and the other stuff, but that is not the ONLY way to worship.  In fact, it is just a small part of it, in my opinion.  I attended a traditional Church for almost a decade, and I was growing and thriving in my faith.  But this one person told me that I was just a religious boy singing hymns and not actually worshiping.  It was quite hurtful to say the least.  There are many kinds of Christians who think this way.  They also say that if you are just singing hymns for worship, then your Church is a dead Church.  Having said that, what are your thoughts on this?  And what is the most Biblical way to worship?
