Rosary Rebels: Vox Populi

Sunday, 17th January 2021, Sacred Heart Church, The Crescent, Limerick. With state-imposed restrictions prohibiting their attendance of Mass, these congregants gather to pray the rosary outside their locked church as Mass is being said inside. Churches are allowed to open their doors to congregants for private prayer after Mass. After the rosary had concluded, I asked some of the congregants why they were there.

The holy rosary will be said by congregants of The Sacred Heart church every Sunday during Mass for as long as the restrictions remain in place.
