20210630 Bipartisanship - The Daily Summation

Can you imagine if your favorite sports team decided they were going to "cooperate with" their opponents in a game? Would you be happy?

I certainly would think not.

How much more important is it, that politicians work to represent your interests if you're among those who elect them?

Do you really believe political operatives in other parties, will be interested in supporting what you want to see happen?

That's a pretty illogical idea. The WHOLE POINT OF bipartisanship, is for those one elects, to do the things one wants.

Obviously, different people want different things, hence multiple parties.

For this reason alone, it's unreasonable to assume bipartisanship is something that should happen as an ongoing thing.

Rather it should occur ONLY WHEN PEOPLE AGREE between members of different parties.

This is the basis for the current edition of The Daily Summation from Kurt's Religion and Politics.

When I'm able to complete the companion article on the Kurt's Religion and Politics blog, I'll post a link to it here.
